-Review and handle all data pertaining to projects as directed.
-Liaise with staff members and clients to determine design parameters and implement these requirements in new or when revising existing designs.
-Produce DXF files for conversion to CNC drawing files for in house manufacturing.
-Choosing suitable materials to meet the customer's usage requirements
-Conduct Root cause analysis
-Use ANSYS to conduct Rocky simulation for modified chute and diverter gate.
-FEA for static stress analysis
-Familiar with AS1554, AS1100 and other Australian standards
-Site measure including Laser Scanning Equipment. Post processing Point Cloud Data by using FARO SCENE, As Built, Navisworks and Geomagic Control.
-Plan, conceptualize and create mechanical designs for customized products.
-Perform engineering calculations and field measurement
-Create and review technical drawings , plans, and specifications using CAD software.
-Collaborate with estimators and boilermakers, and work with vendors and contractors
-Refurbish and repair BHP Olympic Dam flask and skip system including relevant arc gates, dump wheels and bridle.
-DEM Rocky simulation for BHP Olympic Dam modified CH1032
-Replace BHP Carrapateena pebble crush circuit wear liners using reversing engineering method
-Build a brick chute and ducting pipes for Nyrstar
