Operational Management: Assist in managing daily ED operations. This includes monitoring patient triage, ensuring optimal patient throughput to reduce wait times, and resolving bed-management bottlenecks with other hospital departments.
Clinical Oversight: Monitor the quality of clinical care. Ensure all medical interventions align with evidence-based practices and Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines. Step in as a clinical leader during high-acuity cases or department surges.
Quality Assurance & Safety: Implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs. Investigate clinical incidents, handle patient grievances, and enforce infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
