  • Currently leading the national infectious disease elimination programme, driving strategic planning, coordination, and alignment with WHO validation frameworks across priority diseases.
  • Led the Communicable Diseases Department during Hajj seasons (2021–2025), overseeing public health preparedness, surveillance, and response in a high-risk mass gathering setting.
  • Led the establishment of the MERS WHO Collaborating Centre at the Saudi Public Health Authority.
  • Elected Chair of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes – Asia Regional Network (November 2020), representing Saudi Arabia.
  • Selected among 90+ global women experts in global health security (2020).
  • Played a key leadership role in the national COVID-19 response at the Saudi CDC, contributing to committees, guidelines and protocols, risk assessments, and national seroprevalence studies.
