This course taught me the basics of coffee making ranging from the standard latte to the long black or piccolo. This course also taught me how to operate a coffee machine and grinder. The second course taught me the basics of latte art.
In this course I have learnt how to sell and serve alcohol responsibly, how to safely manage intoxicated patrons, communication strategies to refuse the supply of alcohol, follow hygiene procedures and identifying food hazards, reporting personal health issues, preventing food contamination, correct cleaning methods for the bar, preparing the bar for service, taking drink orders and closing down the bar.

This course taught me the basics of bartending, stirring, pouring and blending perfect cocktails. The course was more aimed at making cocktails and how to work in a busy bar.
