As an Accountant at Global Clearing Company, I was responsible for managing the company's financial operations related to customs clearance services. During my time with the company, I played a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions were processed smoothly and in compliance with local and international regulations. I handled tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

In addition, I was actively involved in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and tax filings, which helped the company stay compliant with tax regulations and provided valuable insights for business decision-making. I also worked closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure accurate billing and payments for customs duties, tariffs, and other related costs.

By streamlining internal accounting processes and collaborating with external auditors, I contributed to maintaining effective internal controls and improving the efficiency of the financial reporting system. My role allowed me to develop a strong understanding of customs regulations and the intricacies of the logistics industry, which I believe significantly added value to the company's financial operations.

Although I have moved on from Global Clearing Company, I look back on my time there with pride, knowing that my work helped support the company's success in the complex and dynamic field of customs clearance.
