For the inpatient part my duties included admitting patients to either ward or ICU, ordering lab tests and imaging (if applicable) and then a discussion about the differential diagnosis with the attending doctor and the coarse of management during patients stay in the hospital and whether a Consultation from another department is needed or not. We then follow up with the patients on our team list, until they are discharged, or another admission day comes.
