The research is under the title of “Customer Value Co-creation in a Social Media Platform: A resource integration perspective” and is centered around customers as individuals. In more depth, this research aims to discover how customers offer and combine their resource offerings (social-e.g. family relationships; cultural-e.g. history; and physical-e.g. personal energy) with those of other customers on a social media platform (i.e. Twitter). It seeks to capture and articulate the way in which the above basic resources are combined to form higher-order resources through customer interactions on Twitter.
