National Care Hospital is a Large District Hospital in the Capital of KSA, Riyadh with 450+ total bed capacity. It is one of the hospital accredited to receive cases of work-related injuries in KSA. The hospital is also equipped with Cathlab, surgical theaters and Endoscopy unit. Expert advise in different specialties is always available in the hospital, this includes Neurosurgery, Orthopedic surgery, Vascular surgery and endoscopic surgery.
Role:
My role is to assess and examine patients from start, request necessary investigations, interpret results and communicate decisions. I also communicate and discuss their possible diagnosis, proposed plan of
management, and commit team-based decision making regarding their disposition from ER, with emphasis on their safety & quality of care.
I lead teams taking care of critically ill patients or in cases of Major codes (Cardiac Arrest or Trauma Codes ) following ACLS & ATLS protocols. As a leader I make sure that different local protocols of the hospital is strictly followed to ensure high quality resuscitation outcomes and patient care.
Performed minor surgical procedures; reduction of joint and fractures, lacerations repair, to address simple, urgent patient injuries or conditions.
As a team member, I improved my learning by participation in weekly and monthly lecture and regularly attend all departmental meetings.
