I started with Telespazio Germany in 2013 responsible for Satellite Flight Plan Configuration, a quality assurance role for the safe operations of ESA missions based in Darmstadt, Germany. I was assigned to European Space Operations Centre, ESOC where I worked to support Flight Operations and mission teams for Copernicus Earth Observation mission, Rosetta Mission, Bepi Colombo Mission, Solar Orbiter Mission to name a few.
In 2018, the company began a change in its business model and developed a Intrapreneur Approach to product development. I was involved in the early initiatives as an Agile & Change Coach for Transformation to Agile Frameworks.

I left Telespazio Germany in 2020 and returned to my hometown in Adelaide just prior to the COVID pandemic taking hold.

The purpose of EUMETSAT is to supply weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products to the National Meteorological Services of our Member States in Europe, and other users worldwide.
Roles:
Working at EUMETSAT was my entry into the space industry and I soon found my niche in this buzzing crossroad of earth observation and space operations. Alongside my role, I founded the EUMETSAT Astronomy club in 2009 and was active in supporting schools and community with space science. I was a coordinator for "Girls Day" and event leader for trips to Abisko National Park for Northern Lights, CERN particle accelerator in France/Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
At EUMETSAT I was responsible to support corporate IT environments, software change management and Item configuration for both hardware and software. I was also responsible for procurement of hardware and the delivery of Service Level Agreements. Auditing office computing hardware installations as well as implementing defined asset and inventory management working practices and procedures for compliance to regulations.
Having arrived in Germany in 2003, I was keen to learn the language and settle my family in Frankfurt a.M. It took me 2 years to find my feet and feel at home with odd jobs in IT and intense courses in German. Finally, I met up with the people at IBS in Bensheim and what started as a business relationship has turned to a long friendship with the owners to this day.
