  • This project is to give entire IT infrastructure support for world's one of the leading magazines publication company CondeNast.
  • Conde Nast has their IT infrastructure spread across many countries and they have a base location at New York and Delaware.
  • Support model segmented to various towers like, Windows and Messaging, Network, Storage and UNIX.
  • I was working as one of the key members of Windows and messaging team and my role was to provide Level 2 support for windows and messaging related issues.
  • We were using different ticketing tools such as Enterprise wizard and PeopleSoft CRM.
  • We also deal with email request and the alert comes from multiple monitoring tools such as IBM Net cool, HPSIM, NetIQAppManager and Quest Spotlight.
  • Windows and messaging team is responsible for handling both user requests and system generated events and provide the resolution within agreed SLA.
  • Day to day activity includes, provide end user support such as public folder creation, administration, distribution list creation, and manage NTFS permission on network shares, security group management, and printer management.
  • Apart from day-to-day activity we have project tickets and weekly maintenance activity such as exchange server database and logs management, scheduled reboot, quarterly server patching using Shavlik patch management tool.
