Negotiate purchase agreements, contracts, and payment terms to secure competitive pricing and reliable supply.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues quickly.Cost & Inventory Control: Work closely with planning and production teams to forecast material requirements. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality.Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce stockouts or overstocking.Market & Risk Management: Track global market trends for critical raw materials (especially copper and aluminum). Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage price volatility and supply chain disruptions. Serve as the main point of contact for procurement-related issues, resolving challenges related to delivery, quality, or contractual terms.Budget & Cost Management: Oversee procurement budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with project estimates. Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify savings opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency. Prepare and present budget forecasts, cost reports, and strategic procurement updates to senior leadership.Compliance & Reporting:Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal company policies. Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to manage logistics processes and resolve any issues. Monitor shipments, track deliveries, and communicate status updates to stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics data for reporting and analysis. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to transportation and logistics. Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to forecast logistics needs and address potential challenges. Analyze logistics performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficiency improvements. Manage customs clearance and documentation for international shipments, as needed.
