Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting in the construction or repair of fences, barns, sheds, or other infrastructure necessary for successful farm operation.
· Carrying out daily farm tasks such as rearing calves, milking cows, dairy clean up, and cleaning pens to ensure animal health and welfare.
· Operation of farm machinery including tractors and front-end loaders.
· Ensuring proper animal care by administering medications, vaccinations, or treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
· Training new farm hands in efficient work methods and safety practices, fostering a knowledgeable and safety-conscious team.
· Feeding hay out to various herds with the use of tractors and feed out carts.
· Seeding and weed control.
· Transportation of several commodities with the use of tipper and flatbed trucks.
· Conducting daily health checks on animals, swiftly identifying and addressing any signs of illness to maintain herd health.
· Keeping pens, stalls and farm equipment clean and sterilized to support animal wellbeing.
· Dipping or bathing animals with appropriate applications to control parasites.
· Cow identification data entry via computer.

· Collecting and delivering commodities’ to and from various farms and organizations with the use of single and b-double tipper trailers.
· Hay transportation.
· Scheduling rosters, approving timesheets and managing employees’ daily tasks.
· Managing incoming and outgoing commodities.
· Communicating effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns related to machine functionality or production output.
· Adapting to changing production schedules and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic in meeting company objectives.
· Operating various types of machinery, including conveyors and packaging equipment, contributing to efficient workflow.
· Assisting in training new employees, providing guidance and sharing knowledge of factory processes.
· Utilizing hand tools and power tools to assemble products, practicing safety measures.
· Loading and unloading of raw materials from trucks, ensuring timely delivery for production needs.
