• Responsible for all electrical inspections related to installation, testing, commissioning, etc. for the involved project.
• Witness the inspections of 380 KV, 132kV, 34.5KV, 13.8KV, 4.16KV Switchgears installation &Power Cables, Pre. commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Implementation of quality control related electrical works in accordance with project specification and engineering standards.
• Review and inspect all electrical installations.
• Check the drawings and documents used at site are approved and compliance with project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved method of statements and drawings.
• Ensure that all equipment used is calibrated and with valid certificates.
• Preparation of testing and commissioning method of statements in coordination with vendors, general contractor representatives and project owners’ representatives
• Monitoring the construction activities.
• Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, material, non-conformances etc.
• Responsible to see that the assigned job is carried out as per the project specification, standard and timely completed as per the project schedule.
• Review and comment/approve the work package issued by the contractor prior to construction &Quality Verification Documents (QVD), Inspection Test Procedure (ITP’s), Test Forms Etc.
• Coordinating with the client, commissioning and Hand-Over department for completion certificate & Quality pack sign off.
• Responsible for issuing Non-Conformities Report (NCR), Site Surveillance Report (SSR) to contractor and construction team if the work is not carried out with effectiveness of correct specification and standards.
• Responsible to make walkthrough with PMT, Operation Team and maintain Logbook Entry for punches.
• Conduct daily inspections as per the daily Request for Inspection (RFI) schedule for site construction activities and material received at site.
• Witness for all switch gear, control gear etc. SITE Acceptance Test (SAT) with head of the department and Vendor Personnel.
• Responsible for tracking and recording of ‘Request for Inspections’ (RFI’s), Non-Conformities Report (NCR), Site Surveillance Report (SSR) and daily report to QC Team Lead and weekly to QC Manager.
• Attend quality and progress meetings with contractors to resolve construction / quality issues and Co-ordination with commissioning and construction personnel for completion and work priority.
• Arrange/attend meetings with client & contractors to discuss issues related to Engineering, Construction and Quality.
• Coordinating with the Operations and Contractor & Safety department to solve the problems during construction testing and pre-commissioning activities.
• Coordinate/follow up punch list to clear the Punch items.
• Regular site visits for foreseeing the potential deficiencies based on his physical experience to share with construction crew and close supervision with regards to installation, testing & pre‐commissioning of Communication scope of works.
• Establish the sequence of requirements for the quality of materials, quality of work, its inspection, and records. To ensure execution of work and comply fully as per standard and approved specification and to prepare the required basic documents are ITP, WP, Calibration reports, wiring diagram, RFI, TQ and NCR.

Performed CT Test, VT Test, Meter Calibration, Scheme Check, Wiring Check, Busbar Contact Resistance, GE Protection Relay Test, Circuit Breaker Timing Test, Insulation Resistance and High Voltage testing. Performed testing for GCB Generator Circuit Breakers (4 Nos.); Make: GE.
• Testing & Commissioning of GSUT 3 Nos. (380/19/19 KV, 560 MVA, Alstom; 380/23.5 KV, 580 MVA, Alstom), UAT 3 Nos. (19/13.8KV, 37.5 MVA; 23.5/13.8KV, 37.5 MVA) and Power Transformers with auxiliary panels (CCC, AVR, OLTC & RTCC). Performed CT Tests, Turns Tap Ratio, Vector Group, Calibration of WTI & OTI, Functional Test of OLTC, SFRA, Insulation and Winding Resistance testing of different types of transformers.
