In my current role as the Sr Nursing Director, I have a wide
range of administrative and operational responsibilities that include.
providing strategic direction; business planning; enterprise risk
management; acquiring and managing resources; organizing,
directing and coordinating person-centered services that adhere to
Saudi government regulations, healthcare policies as well as the
accreditation standards.

Key leadership role in many projects to improve patient satisfaction:

  • Led the achievement of the highest outpatient experience units and best Nursing scores for two consecutive years (2022-2023).Overall, patient satisfaction score in 2023 for all Dhahran Clinics in Press Gany was 91.5; this score is 91.5% higher than the entire clinics database in GCC.
  • Increase PC Clinic capacity including the extended opening hours, introduction of same day appointments resulting the number of slots exceeds its target of 1,100 appointments a day. Patient satisfaction is at its highest ever at to 89.75 %. And the access metric leap from 62.34 % in October 2022 to vs. 88.73 % in October 2023.
  • Successfully led the transition period of opening the new Children Healthcare Center and the following were achieved:

o Created the scope of service for the new department

o Completed staffing plan.

o Set goals for the department.

o Reviewed cross training plan for all units to ensure the adequacy of meeting the operational needs.

o Completed business continuity management plan.

  • Improved patient access to specialty clinics appointment by applying single point of contact and achieved stretch in most of the specialty clinics.
  • Led and support vaccination campaigns
  • Led and support many of Health Awareness Campaigns to increase the public awareness on disease management and prevention.
  • Enhanced Heart and Vascular service efficiency through participating in Enhanced Recovery after Surgery ERAS project, and decrease cardiac surgery LOS from 7 to 4.6 days, which is less than target goal of Hospital ALOS to ≤ 5.5%.
  • Improve efficiency, minimize delay and enable growth by supporting the back referral to all specialty clinics.
  • With CarePlusproject as Primary Care Work Stream Enabler Team Lead worked on the following:

o Reviewed the entire process around scheduling of appointments and identify gaps

o Reviewed current patient panels assigned to each Primary Care Physician to ensure appropriate acuity.

o In conjunction with other workstreams mapped customer feedback about MyChart functionality and provided enhancements suggestions.

o Reviewed current chronic care provided to patients and identify additional ways of enhancing and delivering care including virtual care

o Assisted patients in wayfinding by implementing welcome guide and the Wayfinding App

o Involved in all CarePlus Archetypes, diabetic and prediabetes, the unplanned visit, and managing multiple conditions patients who are aged 60 years and above.

· Led the implementing of Cath PCI database to improve quality of patient care and hospital operation efficiency.

· As member of Primary Care Transformation Program the following was achieved by co-ordinate the delivery and operationalizing the outputs with other discipline:

o Free up Surgical capacity to deliver 10 k and reduce waiting times for surgery by introducing Minor Procedure Clinics in PC

o Reduced onward referrals from EMS and PC to Orthopedics by introducing MSK clinic in PC.

o Worked in optimization process of referrals from Primary care for the following:

  • Imaging requests, which was reduced by 27%.
  • Referrals to specialty clinics which was reduced by 30% .
  • Referrals to physical therapy which was reduced by 60%.
  • Staff engagement score in 2023 for Dhahran Outpatient Nursing Department was 4.37; this score is higher than the organization score, and 0.36 higher than Nat'l Healthcare Avg.
  • Improve efficiency of utilizing overtime, which was successfully reduced from $344,413 in 2021 to $103,363 with 69% ($241,050) significant reduction.
