• Responsible for the preparation of Quality Assurance and Quality control Plan as per Field Quality Control Plan and Issued construction drawings and Specifications.
• Responsible for the over-all implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control related to electrical works in accordance with standards & specifications.
• Verify the equipment and devices used in the project meets the required Specifications as per Standard and tested in accordance with the Standard procedures.
• Witnessing the Installation & Pre-commissioning of LV & MV transformer
• Witnessing the Installation & Pre-commissioning of 13.8kv ,4.16Kv and 480V switchgear and MCC panels
• Witnessing the pre-commissioning activities of MV & LV Motors.
• Installation, Inspections and Loop Check for Pressure Transmitter, Temperature Transmitter, Differential Pressure transmitter, Ultrasonic Flow transmitter, MOV Actuator and TOC Analyzer.
• Installation & Inspections of Impulse Hookup Tubing and Pressure/Leak Test for Differential Pressure Transmitter.
• Witnessing the installation of Air handling unit, Air cooled condenser unit, Motorized volume damper, Fire Smoke damper, temperature detectors, exhaust fan, Disconnect switch and Chemical filter.
• Witnessing the function test of HVAC control panel such as Lamp test, I/O points, Sequence of operation and Alarm test.
• Witnessing the installation of MCC power panel for HVAC system
• Site acceptance test (SAT) for MCC panel such as Circuit Breaker, Current transformer, ZCT, Overload relay testing.
• Installation & Inspections of lighting fixtures, PDP Breaker, Junction Box.
• Installation & inspections of 280MVA OLTC Transformer, 33KV/400V Auxiliary Transformer, 380KV Switchyard equipment’s such as surge arrestor, capacitive voltage transformer, disconnecting switch, Earthing switch, Post insulator, Neutral grounding resistor, Dead tank circuit breaker (DTCB), BMK panels, SAS panel, 33KV GIS panels, ACDB panels, Fire alarm control panel(FACP), DCDB panels, Battery Charger, Static VAR Generator (STATCOM), Cabling & Termination, Plant Grounding systems, Duct Banks, overall plant Lighting , Cable Trays, Conduits and trenches.
• Witnessing Megger and HI-POT Test for MV cables.
• Witnessing Laying and dressing of 800 mm² MV cables and other power & control cables.
• Preparing of Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC/TOP) for various switchyard and other GIS equipment’s.
• Supervise & carry out effective implementation of work schedule to clear Punch list. Perform MC walkthroughs.
• Ensure all required inspection reports and Test records are systematically generated and compiled.
• Prepare all necessary documents and making reports needed for the turnover of the project Package.
• Review construction drawings for compliance of project requirements & Specifications with the project approved construction drawing & specifications.
• Inspection of all materials/equipment received on site with the approved material submittals and test certificates, inspection reports from third party inspector wherever necessary are available.
• Co-ordination and giving directions to supervisors for quality aspects of the project.
• Conduct regular Quality Control Inspection Report and submit to QA/QC Department Head as per attached formats

• Planning, scheduling & monitoring of construction activities and preparation of the reports.
• Coordinating with the consultants and client for any variations as per the drawing and specifications.
• Monitoring construction actives and safety precautions at site (HSE)
• Installation of Transformers, power & control panels, UPS, cable trays, conduits, junction boxes, Laying, splicing & termination of Power/Control/Instrumentation & Fiber Optic Cables.
• Review project drawings and apply contract codes, standards and specifications.
• Coordinating with the commissioning and construction department for electrical completion.
• Coordinating with Supervisors for site material arrangement & Preparation of Material take off (MTO) for electrical materials.
• Preparing red markups as per actual site installation and forward to engineering for approval.
• Preparing letters for claiming change orders and additional requirements from client.
• Coordinating with the discipline quality control inspectors for ensuring required activities within the concerning construction programs are inspected and approved.
• Coordinating with sub-contractor engineers for resolving interface concerns.
