My research interests and expertise in sociolinguistics, pragmatics, and English language teaching align well with the requirements of the Senior Lecturer/Lecturer position at Oryx Universal College. I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to the School of Foundation Studies and Mathematics through my teaching, research, and service.
I am particularly interested in the opportunity to develop and deliver modules across the foundation studies and mathematics programmes. My experience in teaching a wide range of English language courses, including English for Academic Purposes, Pragmatics, and Sociolinguistics, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively teach these modules.
I am also eager to contribute to the research and development of the school. My research interests in sociolinguistics and pragmatics are directly relevant to the school's focus on English language teaching and communication.
