· Construction Phase Startup

His professional attribute clearly facilitated an effective, sound and timeous appointments of respective Contractors with the exception of O&M still in bidding stage.

· Conflict Management

During the signing of the contracts of the first 2 packages, Company has explored another site for a possible program CPF plant within the assigned Land Use Permit (LUP) for the Zuluf program in which Khalid was the stalwart in collaborating with all concerned parties to resolve in an amicable solution saving several millions of Dollars for ARAMCO in the process while still being in a position to meet all planned milestones, which could have been delayed for up to 2 years. In this exercise the team clearly appreciated Khalid’s Project Management, Risk Identification and Business Management Skills, while harnessing COMPANY values.

· Leadership

With only one PDP, three experience site superintendents and Supplement Manpower (SMP) trainees, Khalid performs all managerial duties assigned to him on Early Works and TCF, which includes Roads & Buildings), as well as all Mechanical, Communication, Electrical and Non-Electrical Utilities for Zuluf CPF with several reports from different sources confirming that he is meticulous, but effective while decisive on all fronts of the packages as well as non-project related administrative duties.

· Proficiency

He has over 25 years relevant experience, of which more than 15 years have been with Saudi Aramco. Over the years with Aramco, Khalid has proven over and over that he can work with great efficiency and methodically both independently as well as in a team. The inputs received from him throughout any activities from design, costing, scheduling, reporting, negotiating, and reviewing of documents etc. consents his vast range of skills contributing significantly to the Department.

· Thinking Out of the Box

Khalid is particular very strong in Project Execution, Project Control and all the required skills for managing activities and requirements from the start to the finished with excellence complimented by both his managerial skills and negotiation skills flourishing him an overall catalyst for this department. Khalid has fostered several cost savings ideas, the likes of Solar light foundation optimization and cost avoidance ensuring open front work for the EWs Contractor to ease handing over of CPF Pads to EPC Contractor meeting milestones.

Furthermore, he is excellent in getting positive outcomes in meetings and negotiations without prejudice, while adding several cost savings to the projects. His valuable attributes master sustainability, cost efficiency, practicality with a high level of safety.

Khalid’s amalgamation of managerial and technical skills comes “packaged” in a wonderful friendly, witty, sincere and caring human being.
