•Supervises and performs a wide variety of payroll processing activities, including but not limited to preparing all monthly time sheets, computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions, processing requests for paycheck advance, and processing terminations.
•Participating in researching and preparing special reports for management, as required. Provides input into goal setting processes for the department. Provides guidance and direction to the department colleagues to ensure completion of delegated tasks.
•Responds to staff inquiries and issue relevant to salaries and benefits and provides relevant solutions.
•Maintain confidentiality relating to all matters dealt within the department. Use great discretion at all times and ensure that no confidential material is leaked from the department to unauthorized members of staff.
•Follow all hospital -related policies and procedures. Participate in emergency and disaster procedures. Perform other duties within the realm of his/her knowledge and ability as required.
