undefinedANALYZE BUSINESS NEEDS AND BUILD SOLUTIONS [2017 – PRESSENT]
As a Business Analyst / Solution Architect, my role is to elicit and analyze business requirements related to many projects. I've worked with almost all the departments within the bank, in addition to vendors from outside the bank. I've worked with Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, delivery channels, Treasury, Central Operations, Remittance, Cards, Consumer Assets, Enterprise Risk Management, and Enterprise Information Security. I've worked also on many regulatory projects, where it is mandatory to work with Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering departments. Mission here is to combine IT and business skills to elicit and analyze the requirements of these different areas, and formulate them in an articulated way in order that IT enables the business needs smoothly.

NCB CORE SYSTEMS REPLACEMENT [2014 – 2016]
My role in this engagement was to manage and support many projects in NCB related to the new strategy of replacing legacy systems with a new generation of bank applications. New generation of apps includes core banking, customer master record, branch system, credit cards system, and others. Such activity includes lots of technical and business challenges; for example, data migration, adhere to business rules and compliance regulations, enhance customer interaction and employees experience…etc.
Participation in such transformation doesn't happen frequently in life; I'd learned and added a lot!
BULK ACCOUNT OPENING [2014]
Apply an awesome feature for several NCB business units to facilitate the creation of customer record and account opening through batch process. This helps a lot in attracting big clients like corporate and universities to provide list of employees or students, then we process this info to do the following:.
Simple as that! Client just upload a data file, and we take care of the rest.
My role in this engagement was to analyze, design, and develop the following –.
E-STATEMENT [2014]
Built a full engine capable of generating different types of bank account e-Statements.
Bank leveraged the customers' notification engine to encourage customers through different NCB channels to switch to e-Statement instead of printed paper statements to leverage the benefits of e-Statement like convenience, security, fast online delivery.
Further, bank benefits to reduce the clutter of paper statement as well as share in making a positive impact on the environment.
My role in this engagement was to analyze, design, and develop the following –.
NET PROMORTER SCORE (NPS) [2013]
As a step from NCB to gather statistics about clients' satisfaction to drive improvements in customer loyalty and enable profitable growth, we applied a robust NPS survey engine to achieve this.
It is fully dynamic to add, remove or maintain different kinds of surveys.
Also, it can be published through customized bank channels.
Furthermore, surveys can be directed to specific customers' segments like Affluent; and can be directed to customers based on gender, age or any other dimension.
My role in this engagement was to analyze, design, and develop the following –.
MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION (MFA) [2012]
Multi-factor Authentication is a further step to secure customer's information.
In addition to first level authentication (password, PIN...), MFA adds more security levels to authenticate customers when accessing their information (log in to channel, money transformation, adding beneficiary...).
We provided a reliable engine allows different types of authentication methods, like Caller ID, SMS OTP (One-time Password), International Mobile number, Soft Token, or Hard Token.
MFA could drastically reduce the incidence of online identity theft, and other online fraud, because the password would no longer be enough to give a thief access to their information.
My role in this engagement was to analyze, design, and develop the following –.
FINANCIAL ACTION TASK FORCE ON MONEY LAUNDERING (FATF) [2010]
The purpose of the FATF is to develop policies to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
The Task Force was given the responsibility of examining money laundering techniques and trends, reviewing the action which had already been taken at a national or international level, and setting out the measures that still needed to be taken to combat money laundering.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined FATF since 2010, and started to apply its recommendations.
As per my responsibility of customers' data master management, my role in this engagement was to analyze, design, and develop the following –
