• Presently, I am associated with BQ (Construction Company) (Saudi Aramco Projects) in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia.
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining Materials handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
• Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with Saudi Aramco Standard.
• Supports and collaborates with Site Construction Managements and other team members on site materials management issues.
• Makes recommendations to improve, raise awareness, be knowledgeable of, and understand the current schedule on all equipment and materials; address any problems/concerns.
• Receives material deliveries on-site, opens and checks material upon arrival for compliance to Purchase Order / D. Notes / Documentations requirements in terms of Qty, Quality, Damage, Short receipt, storage & subsequent issue to Site Contractors.
• Making Sure the required Documents for Saudi Aramco Projects as per SA Materials Specification Standard at the time of Delivery MTC (Material Testing Certification) MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) VP (Vendor Approval) (MTA) (COC) etc. by internal QC inspection prior to RFI (Request for Inspection).
• Monitoring the stock control track of stock using computer systems (ERP SAP).
• Setting KPI for all Warehouse staff and managing /resolving conflict professionally.
• Material for all new shipments to be helped to handle the material by FIFO (First-In, First-Out), LIFO (Last-In, First-Out) in the inventory.
• Reviews receiving and shipping notices, yard layouts and reports schedule inadequacies.
• Using special electrical stamps for tires stamping during the process of issuing the tires to the equipment & vehicles.
• Keep stock up to date and make sure that the inventories are accurate.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process.
• Conducts periodic reviews to ensure that methods used within the Warehouse function are in line with the established guidelines and procedures
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations/customs regulations and legal and health and safety requirements.
• Facilitates the preservation of equipment & materials located withing the warehouse & laydown areas that are under the control of the warehouse team.
