Document Management:
- Receive, review, and log all incoming and outgoing project documents (WIRs, RFIs, drawings, submittals, etc.).
- Ensure proper document control numbering, formatting, and version control.
Review & Distribution:
- Distribute documents to relevant engineering disciplines for review.
- Ensure timely response and track pending reviews.
System Maintenance:
- Upload and maintain documents in document management systems (e.g., PMWeb, Aconex).
- Ensure documents are accessible, organized, and backed up.
Compliance & Standards:
- Ensure all documents comply with project/company standards.
- Coordinate with contractors for corrections in submissions.
Reporting:
- Maintain logs for submittals, approvals, revisions, etc.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on document status.
Coordination:
- Between the contractor, consultant team, and client for document-related matters.
- Support the engineering team during audits and inspections.
Archiving:
- Properly archive approved/closed documents at project milestones.
