• Preparation of annual budgets and monthly cost center wise analysis and reporting of variances.
• Managing budgets and taking necessary actions to control and reduce cost.
• Support month-end closing by ensuring that all expenses and provisions are booked to appropriate Accounts.
• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and performance measurement reports.
• Gathering budget proposals from departments and compilation of Master Budget.
• Implementation, Monitoring and Control of Budgets through timely reporting and meeting with departmental heads.
• Managing Internal Audit of the entire group consist of 9 Hotels and 3 apartments. (The portfolio includes 5 stars and 4 star Hotels and luxury apartments).
• Reporting directly to Chairman of the Group about day to day audit observations and follow up with executive Management to take corrective action.
• Direct and supervise Internal Auditors from planning stage to finalization of audit reports. Give approval to audit scope, approval of the audit plan, audit period and audit team etc.
• Run or lease analysis on time to time basis for restaurants, Hotels and Apartments, negotiating with the parties on lease rentals, draft terms and conditions of the agreements and finalized the deals.
• Checking and approving night audit reports including; cashier's report, check in/out reports, tariff posted, discounts. Complimentary and rebates given to customers, credit card reconciliations, non-chargeable bills scrutiny, housekeeping and front office room status reports etc.
• Checking and approving purchase orders, Checks and cash payments, monthly payroll, procedural compliances, authoritative compliances, to detect and identify any supplier related or payroll related frauds or errors.
