I’m a Mechanical Engineering graduate from UC Irvine with project experience in robotics, control systems, and experimental engineering. I’ve built full electromechanical systems—from CAD modeling and stress analysis to instrumentation, coding, and testing. My senior design project focused on designing an autonomous soil-collecting robot, which strengthened my skills in problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering design. I’m excited to apply my technical training to real-world engineering roles.
Autonomous Soil-Collecting Robot — Senior Design Project (MAE 151A/B)
• Designed and built an autonomous robot that collects soil using a custom auger probe and automated release system.
• Led structural CAD design, force analysis, battery sizing, and control integration using Arduino Mega.
• Developed a revolving conveyor system for soil transport.
Vibration Analysis — MAE 147
• Modeled 1-DOF and 2-DOF vibration systems in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Performed modal analysis, resonance studies, and system stability evaluations.
Heat & Mass Transfer Simulations — MAE 115
• Built conduction, convection, and diffusion models with analytical and numerical methods.
• Generated technical reports with data analysis, plots, and error evaluation.
PID Control System Development — MAE 106
• Designed and tuned a PID controller for an inverted pendulum system using MATLAB/Simulink.
Materials & Manufacturing Labs — MAE 120
• Tested composite materials, analyzed stress-strain behavior, and evaluated failure mechanisms.
