A- DRILLING SUPERVISOR ON DRILLING RIGS DUTIES:
1. Supervise the drilling of vertical and directional wells as per program in a cost effective and safe manner including the following:
a) Optimizing drilling parameters in different hole sections, Optimizing mud properties.
b) Optimize bit hydraulics to get maximum ROP.
c) Run bits with or without motors, performing sidetracks.
d) Perform magnetic or electric single or multi shot survey.
e) Perform coring and supervise logging as per program.
f) Running & cementing casing and liner, Calculating and performing cement jobs.
2. Manage the execution of the operations carried out by the rig under my control, following the drilling programs.
3. Manage the HSE performance of the rig in compliance with specific HSE policies and procedures.
4. Provide reporting of all well site activities.
5. Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and incidents on the location.
6. Monitor the operational and technical performance of well site contractor resources against agreed indicators, for surface and sub-surface activities; verify that the quality and cost effectiveness of the drilling products delivered by my well site organization is meeting agreed customer specifications. Supervise all fishing operation.
7. Supervise Rig inspection as per check list.
B- DRILLING ENGINEEER DUTIES:
1. Prepare and carry-out the drilling, completion, production test / DST programs Including:
Expenditures estimation and issue materials requisition.
Off-set wells data sheet.
Mud program design.
Drill string and BHA design
Casing / liner design and running procedure program.
Cementing program design
Bit Selection (PDC/rock bits) & running w/ performance motor.
Hydraulics program Design.
Well Head Selection.
Well test (Production and D.S.T) programs.
Core and logging program.
Sidetrack program by using whip stock (Orient whip stock, set, cut and mil csg).
Single or dual completion programs.
Plug back programs P&A and T&A programs.
2. Prepare the expenditures and Programs for the following work-over operations
Pump (ESP & Jet) installation and replacement.
Re-completion (plug back, zonal isolation with packer(s), etc.).
Producing interval remedial works. (Re-perforation and adding perf's, water shut-off, hydraulic fracturing, etc.).
Well bore remedial works. (Csg. damage and Leak, second remedial Cement Jobs, etc.).
3. Daily operations follow-up w/ rigs including:
Daily follow-up optimum drlg and mud parameters, cost, survey, torque and drag, safety issues, etc…
Up date progress chart (depth vs. day).
Hold daily morning operation meeting w/ services co.
Hole cleaning while drlg and running csg.
Check and follow cmt jobs for excellent cmt for zonal isolation.
Check completion integrity.
Check and arrange w/ Co. man, services co. planning a head for all equipment and services availability on time at rig site.
4. Prepare drlg final well report and also hand over report for PDD.
5. Hold pre-spud meeting at rig site.
6. Prepare and hold-up at rig site after action review for each well to discuss w/ rig crew and company man plan, actual operation, what we are going to do, who and when.
7. Hold a presentation at the end of the well discussed for lessons learned.
8. Attend at rig site and follow monthly safety inspection to improve monthly HSE score.
9. Tendering scope of work and evaluation.
10. Drilling and completion equipment forecasting and stock managing.
11. Updated and proper technology selection for the Operations Cost Optimizing.
12. Follow-up daily rig operation (DRLG & W.O RIGS), analyze the problems and recommend the proper economic technical solutions after discussion with service companies.
C- DRILLING SUPERVISOR ON WORKOVER RIGS DUTIES:
1. Construct and deliver high quality wells by working over and/or completing wells as per program in a cost effective and safe manner.
2. Manage the execution of the operations carried out by the rig under my control, following the work over programs and according to Well Engineering standards.
3. Manage the HSE performance of the rig in compliance with specific HSE policies and procedures.
4. Provide reporting of all well site activities.
5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of expertise with respect to execution of work over and completion programs, with special attention to well control and safety management.
6. Responsible for doing a first-line investigation and reporting of all accidents and incidents on the location.
7. Monitor the operational and technical performance of well site contractor resources against agreed indicators, for surface and sub-surface activities; verify that the quality and cost effectiveness of the work over and well completion products delivered by my well site organization is meeting agreed customer specifications.
8. Supervise Rig inspection as per check list.
9. Supervise all killing operation of Oil wells.
10. Supervise all fishing operation.
11. Supervise coil tubing operation.
12. Supervise communication test and remedial cement job for zonal isolation.
13. Evaluate qualitative cmt bond log (CBL/VDL/CCL/GR/USIT).
14. Experience in different types of perforation guns (TCP gun, Csg gun and through tbg guns).
15. Supervise all production tests of exploration wells.
16. Supervise running single / dual completion.
17. Supervise handling and running 13% and super 13% cr tubing.
18. Supervise running ESP Pump alone or on Y - TOOL.
19. Supervise running all types of PKR.
20. Conduct weekly safety meeting discussed HSE, Near Miss Report.
21. Supervise monthly rig safety inspection.
22. Conduct weekly kick drill stripping, H2S drill and fire drill with both crew.
23. Make daily / weekly reports (drlg report, cost sheet and safety).
D- DRILLING ENG. ( ASSEST. SUPERVISOR) ON DRILLING RIGS DUTIES:
Checking and carrying out drilling programs including:
1. Optimizing of drilling parameters.
2. Cement calculations and cement jobs.
3. Running casing.
4. Bit performance comparison.
5. Checking mud properties.
6. Reporting the drilling general manager
