MAIN OBJECTIVES

Job Responsibilities:

  • Second Line Manager, reporting to Sales & Marketing Director GCC.
  • Responsible for all business operations within the unit including Sales & Marketing functions, Forecasting and P&L.
  • Member of the Company Board of Directors.
  • Responsible of Gastro Unit business in Saudi Arabia.
  • Leads a team of Supervisors, District Managers & Product Managers.
  • Shape the culture of performance, empowerment, accountability, innovation, customer focus and execution.
  • Building, leading and developing well-functioning sales and marketing teams to drive pharmaceutical business, implement key strategies and enroll key projects in the assigned markets.
  • Established regional processes to facilitate the team work ,endorse business excellence and flawless execution of the strategic directions and plans
  • To deliver the sales targets for a given portfolio of brands within a defined geography, by ensuring full understanding and execution of Brand, Customer and Account Plans and tactics.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales supervisors &representatives, including recruitment, training, development and the management of performance to ensure that they are motivated and equipped with the knowledge, skills and support to perform and execute effectively.
  • Shape the culture of performance, empowerment, accountability, innovation, customer focus and execution.
  • Establishing the base for existing products and preparing for the Launch of new products.
  • Identifying key growth factors responsible for stretching both In-Market and To-Market sales in relation to the company strategy and requirements.

KEY TASKS


  • Set the unit overall objectives (growth, market share.) In line with global company objectives.
  • Leads & communicate short-term and long-term vision for marketing strategies across multiple geographies and multiple disease states.
  • Setting required budget and aligning them with the priority products.
  • Recruiting and retaining the best talents.
  • Reviewing and approving marketing activities.
  • Develop subordinates and preparing successors.
  • Build, motivate and develop marketing and sales talents across the unit.
  • Resource optimization.
  • Maintaining contact with the market & key customers.
  • Manage the unit for a compliant profitable growth
  • Liaise with other functions (finance, MAF, etc)
  • Liaise with distributors to make sure that, sales are meeting with the forecast while maintaining adequate inventory level.
  • Monitoring sales progress and expenses.
  • Creating harmony among various functions / people.
  • Ensuring proper communication between unit members and other units.
  • Search for business opportunities and business development.
  • Ensuring that policies are adhered to in the unit.
  • Charge and motivate team to achieve the unit objectives.
  • Lead others by setting objectives giving encouragement and modeling behavior.
  • Following up R. Ph. policies and procedures
  • Comply with local laws & Policy.
  • Report Adverse Event & product quality complaints as per R. Ph. Pharmacovigilance guidelines.
