Achievements:

Within a very short period of my tenure I have successfully achieved below :

• Managed portfolio of 22 clients (including one listed client in KSA and various other MNC's) from initiation phase till its delivery and billing;
• Achieved revenue of approximate 1MSR;
• Delivered tax and zakat compliance services namely filing of tax/zakat returns and monthly/annual WHT returns within its deadline;
• Successfully handled GAZT's queries and preliminary assessment;
• Supported tax technology team during the transition of manual process to automation of tax compliance processes;
• Provided recommendations on areas of improvements and highlighted errors in the new system deployed;
• Actively involved in business development of Accounting Compliance Services in KPMG as a new service line.

Achievements:

• Successfully led deployment of SAP GSI as key user of FICO and achieved one of the fastest deployment globally in Alstom's history;
• Set up Chart of Accounts, CC Hierarchy, PC, Master data of Customers, Suppliers and Employees
• Completed implementation of DIP and Concur within its stipulated time;
• Rigorously improved P2P process by deploying additional controls;
• Flawlessly completed month closing while maintaining high quality of financial results such as revenue, COS/COGS, recovery of overhead costs, margin, cash flows forecast, actual cash flows, AR, AP , Fixed Assets and GL review;
• Led custom duty reconciliation exercise in response to GAZT's tax assessment from start of project;
• Timely managed tax compliances (VAT and Income Tax) with GAZT;
• Dealt with central treasury for hedging foreign currency risks and fund requirements and liaison with local banks;
• Managed team of six and mentored them for their professional development; and
• Directly reported to Country Finance Director and Regional Finance Process and Tools Leader.

In addition to the above following were also my responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting Balance Sheet Review report to central team and Managing external audit and internal audit;
• SAP deployment as a Key User (FICO), Concur deployment and DIP (Digital Invoice Processing) deployment.
  

Achievements:

2018-2019

• Exceeded expectation by achieving 128% of the target revenue and contributed 13.3% of Total Revenue of ACR for FY 2019; and
• Successfully managed risk associated with engagement and clients of more than 40 clients during my tenure as Manager

• IFRS Impact assessment of Financial Model of Rail Company in Abu Dhabi and largest Wind Energy client of Saudi Arabia

2017-2018
Successfully led transition of Johnson & Johnson, KSA from distributor model to internal processes (start up)

• Led setting up of legal entity (SAP environment), implementation of all regulatory and compliance requirements;
• Executed flawlessly Records-to-Report and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes;
• Enhanced employee payments process and reviewed of trial balance after go live of SAP and trained clients staff for the same;
• Reviewed and amended work instructions and SOP's of finance;
• Reported directly to regional finance leader;
• Passed EY MAC test and promoted to Manager; and
• Directly reported to Executive Director in the firm.

2016-2017

Successfully led set up of Standard Operating Procedure of Merck Sharp and Dohme for its distributor's claims settlements:

• Prepared, executed and established standard operating procedure (SOP);
• Managed team of three staff during execution phase and trained them and clients team before completion of assignments;
• Saved millions of Riyals of client on this engagement;
• Reported weekly to Country Finance Director of client;
• Also supported EY's IT team in developing automated solutions for distributor’s claims settlements;
• Supported Assurance department during busy audit season and executed number of audit clients of food packaging, Financial Institute and Defense companies in KSA; and
• Achieved annual performance rating 5 out of 5.

2014-2016

Seconded as Business Controller (SAP environment):

• Led successfully finance function as Business Controller of GE Power (formerly Alstom Thermal Services) for a period of two years;
• Achieved flawless and timely reporting of Monthly/quarterly and annual financial results to Central team in France;
• Managed KPI's namely revenue recognition, COGS/COS, margin, under/over recovery of overhead cost, cash forecast and actual cash flow;
• Dealt with central treasury for hedging foreign currency risks and weekly fund requirements;
• Prepared and presenting Balance Sheet Review report to central team;
• Prepared and presented annual Budget and forecasted Financial Statements and cashflows for three years;
• Led Process improvements and review of Work Instructions (WIs) and SOPs;
• Managed flawlessly internal and external audit;
• Managed transition phase during global acquisition of client;
• Reported directly to Country CFO and Regional FD; and
• Achieved annual performance ratings 4 out of 5 and 3 out of 5 in FY 2015 and FY 2016 respectively.

• As senior in-charge of assurance engagements executed audit engagement and quarterly reviews of clients from transportation and logistics, hospitality, manufacturing and educational sectors;
• Planned audit program, designed audit strategies, assessed audit risk, tested internal controls and supervised audit procedures;

• Achieved Annual Performance Rating of 3 out of 5.
