My most recent role is Manager - CAMO, covering all fleet technical management, which includes the GACA Part 135 startup airlines, development in phases/audit of AOC approval, development of manuals (GMM, AMP, MEL, etc.), and effectiveness of the aircraft maintenance program during in-service operation and revision.   • Continuing airworthiness and technical support tasks related to airframe, engine, and avionics systems, as required to support maintenance and operational issues.
  • Development of MEL, subsequent revisions, and its approval from the local authority.

  • Company Overview: Nesma Airlines KSA started its domestic operation with four new dry lease ATR72-600s (New Avionics Suite modified) and received international approval.
  • Ensure that continuous airworthiness management functions are implemented, and compliance is maintained as per local authority, while continuously monitoring the maintenance efficiency, reliability, and availability of the fleet.
  • Review and analysis of the technical delays, cancellations, MEL deferred defects, and items in relation to the Nesma Airlines fleet operation, and identify the root cause to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Monitoring and control of critical and repeated defects with the team, to ensure correct troubleshooting for defect clearance and appropriate background review and action for repeated defects.
  • Evaluation and interpretation of technical documentation, including Airworthiness Directives, EASA/FAA mandates, Service Bulletins, Component Service Bulletins, and other aircraft manufacturers' publications.
  • Initiation of appropriate actions relating to the issuance of emergency ADs/SBs, fleet-wise inspections, record management, and monitoring & maintaining the repeated ADs/SBs status.
  • Liaising with aircraft, engine manufacturers, and OEMs to resolve engineering and maintenance issues, and ensuring appropriate approved data is in place to allow the release of aircraft.
  • Management and review of aircraft technical records in terms of reliability data, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Evaluation of processes that improve aircraft system reliability and technical performance in conjunction with the aircraft manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, and suppliers, which include SBs, VSBs, ADs, SILs, AOM, TPS, and any other supplier documentation.
  • Monthly review and compile the maintenance data for the reliability monitoring and assessment.
  • Prepare reliability summary sheets by considering current and historical actions, effectiveness, and initiate initial recommended corrective actions for the final decision of the reliability control board, and follow up.
  • Be aware of and study world fleet reliability issues through Manufacturer/OEM documentation, process management, and initiate recommended SBs in a cost-effective way.
  • Liaising with aircraft manufacturers and vendors for strip/final shop reports assessment and integrating the data into reliability reporting.
  • Control and optimization of an effective Aircraft Maintenance Program with the CAMP team in respect to MPD, MRBR, reliability data, regulations, environmental effects, and critical event considerations.
  • Maintaining the data/configuration status of each induction aircraft, which includes previous production modifications, in-service modifications status, and cross-checking the modification effectiveness.
  • Interacts with the aircraft manufacturer/OEM regarding warranty claims, reliability analysis, and feedback.
  • Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring failures that affect the safety and economy of the fleet, and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with assigned technical services engineering specialists.
