An Architectural Engineer with over 13 years of professional experience. Working in the iconic Qasr Al Hokm Station one of the largest stations in Riyadh Metro Project as a Consultant and site Architectural Engineer supervising all finishing, fit outs and landscaping works.
Started as a site Architect and promoted to Assistant resident Engineer and later to Senior Architect.
Managing finishing works in two high profile metro station on the orange line; The Court Complex underground station and the iconic Qasr Al Hokm station, the largest intersection station in Riyadh Metro Project.
Managing finishing and landscaping works and ensuring delivery of works in high quality, as per specifications and designer intent.
During years of the project I covered different roles from site engineer to design reviewer to team leader
My responsibilities are and not limited to the following:
Successfully manged a team of 10 engineers on two metro stations that have two different designers and different requirements.
During this period I oversaw starting and finishing of many activities such as epoxy and terrazzo flooring, wall painting, rendering, tiling cladding, doors and glazing works and stations canopy fixations and cladding.
Also during this time the landscaping works started between the two stations and I managed the work from Madinah Road starting from Al Bathaa road intersection until King Fahd road junction at around 1.5KM in length.
Joined in the early stages of Riyadh Metro Project as a Site Architect during the 60% architectural design drawings stage. My input and reports during project design have successfully translated to on site execution for major elements of Qasr al Hokm station such as the design of Fair Face Concrete walls and Cone wall Render.
During early construction, I started following up with Civil engineering works such as excavations, utility relocation, piling and anchoring, concrete casting. As project progressed and finishing works started with Blockwork, plastering and painting I carried forward to finishing works as more fronts opens
This project took place on the Empty Quarter desert as part of Saudi Aramco Shaybah development program, it included building two residential accommodations and expanding and renovating other Aramco facilities in the area
