Mohammed Alhussain

I have strong experience in innovation and regulatory enablement, gained through my work at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department at SDAIA. I was part of the core team that created and managed the SDAIA Regulatory Sandbox — a national initiative designed to support startups in testing innovative data and AI solutions within a controlled and compliant environment. Our project, “Building and Activating the Experimental Legislative Environment,” was recognized with the SDAIA Award for Institutional Excellence. Our project was designed to help MSMEs develop and test their solutions in alignment with the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), providing a supportive environment for regulatory compliance and innovation. This role combined policy, technology, and entrepreneurship to help position Saudi Arabia as a global leader in the data and AI ecosystem.
