Project: Oil Storage Tanks – Maintenance & Repair
Client: Saudi Electricity Company

• Planning and supervision of cleaning & inspection of above the ground Heavy fuel oil and crude oil storage tanks as per API 653.
• Ensuring the PTW system is strictly enforced and the confined space log sheet is maintained and all the entry exits are recorded.
• Managing the sub-contractors' manpower and equipment.
• Ensuring all the safety requirements are complied with, during the whole duration of the project and daily tool box talk is conducted with the team.
• Coordinating with the Inspection sub-contractor for carrying out the MFL and UT inspection of the tank bottom plates and tank shell respectively.
• Responsible for maintaining and submitting the monthly time sheets for all the workers at site.
• Successful handing over of tank upon completion of project scope as per client's requirement.
• Preparing daily and weekly work progress report and ensuring there is no or minimum deviation from the planned project completion date.

• Plan, schedule, supervise the execution of routine, preventive & breakdown maintenance of major plant equipment to assure their long-term reliability which includes mixers, feeding & loading pumps, compressors and various pipeline networks.
• Planning & leading the team for major turnaround and inspection of all static equipment like drums, columns, vessels, heat exchangers in Hydrocarbon tank farm & utilities area.
• Support the maintenance activities for the crude, ethane and butane feed lines which is almost 200kms in length and supervising the specialist contractor during the ethane/butane scraper retrieval.
• Lead the maintenance team during the testing and commissioning of incinerator-4 in waste water treatment plant.
• Participation in vendor selection process, conducting job explanation meetings and participating risk assessments (RA).
• Supervise all mechanical works and projects executed by the contractors in the assigned area of work.
• Prepare monthly mechanical maintenance reports for all major rotary and stationary equipment.
• Conduct a thorough technical evaluation of spares for the plant equipment and ensuring the cataloguing of the spares for future repairs.

• Executed various rigging jobs include heavy lifts, critical lifts and non-critical lifts at oil and gas wells throughout the Kingdom, and crude oil pump stations.
• Designed and approved critical lifting plans, performed sling load calculations, selected proper crane configuration and prepared the lifting diagrams.
• Reviewed and approved Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for special and unique lifts, ensured the use of internationally approved and recommended crane signals, and proficiently supervised lifting activities.
