Refrigeration Senior Design Engineer:

• Estimation of Heat Load of chiller rooms (medium temp.), frozen rooms (low temp.), blast and spiral freezers (quick freezing), water chiller (water cooling)
• Designing of holding rooms and pull-down rooms of all kinds of food products
• Dealing with all ongoing refrigerants R22, R134a, R404, Ammonia and Glycol
• Using DX system with Freons and pump recirculation system with glycol and ammonia
• Dealing with all types of compressors such as hermetic scroll, semi hermetic reciprocating, semi hermetic screw and open type reciprocating & screw compressor
• Efficiently designed various refrigeration systems as per requirement and demand to optimize cost and power consumption
• The systems include parallel series compressor racks (both reciprocating & screw), Economized and non-Economized systems, single stage and two stage booster systems, direct expansion systems with all ongoing freons and pump recirculation system involving ammonia
• These systems are successfully commissioned and under operation in Saudi market
• Pipe designing involves sizing of suction, discharge, drain, liquid, equalizing and vent pipes considering the pressure drop in lines and nominal velocity
• Selection of liquid pumps for ammonia and glycol for recirculation systems
• Calculation of the Liquid receivers, HP vessel, LP vessel, open flash economizers and oil coolers for ammonia and freons
• Selection of the system accessories such as oil separator, suction accumulator, filter drier, suction line filters, solenoid valves, expansion valves etc
• Application of various valves such as shutoff valves, check valves, pressure regulating valves, oil drain valve, purge valve where required in the system
• Preparation of the quotation i.e., cost estimation of complete refrigeration system including accessories, piping and miscellaneous items used in the system design
• Preparation of the Technical Submittal of the refrigeration system for client approval
• Preparation of all the refrigeration drawings such as evaporators layout, piping and instrumentation diagram (PID), rack drawing for the central systems
• Preparation of the material schedule and issue to the store and service department for installation
• Calculation of power consumption of the complete system.

Refrigeration Project Manager:

• Reviewing the project contract, understanding and agreeing on terms & conditions of project contract.
• Executing the projects as per the contract scope, schedule and contractual conditions.
• Analyzing the risk assessment of the project, negative impact on margin & progress of the project.
• Issuing the purchase requests of the materials and negotiating the price & delivery time of Equipment with the suppliers in coordination with procurement.
• Ensuring all the materials purchased are in the allotted budget.
• Developing the project working schedule to meet the project timeline and agreeing the schedule with consultant/client.
• Co-ordinating between the Engineering and consultant for timely approval of drawings and documents.
• Attending project meetings and resolving all project related queries.
• Planning, monitoring and controlling the project activities.
• Issuing MIR, RFI for installation works.
• Preparing and submitting project progress report to customer / consultant.
• Allocating the installation team timely based on the required work.
• Evaluating the sub-contractors for related jobs and issuing the scope of works to them.
• Co-ordinating with the Finance team to issue the invoices when the payment terms are met based on site progress.
• Co-ordinating with service team for testing and commissioning upon completion of installation works.
• Handing over the project upon successful commissioning and issuing the warranty certificate.

• Co-ordination with the consultant engineers
• Inspection of the site work to assure that the installation is as per approved drawings
• Calculating the material and issuing bill of quantities
• Preparing Request for Inspection (RFI) for the installation done and getting the consultant approval
• Observing and warning the 'Safety First' for all the workers
• Maintaining the site inventory and return material
• Preparing the As-built drawings after the handover.
