• Completing multiple drafts of 3D CAD design, calculating
casing thickness required, and submitting configurations of
the turbomachinery piping inlets and outlets that connect
to the recuperator.
• Performing static and thermal stress analysis after applying
fixed boundary conditions on the turbine casing using the
ANSYS software.
• Calculations were made following ASME Boiler and
Pressure Vessel Code Sec Vlll Div 1.
• Material selection of the turbomachinery casing under the
maximum operating parameters of the power cycle.
• Material Selection of bolts and estimating bolt's minimum
length of engagement and tightening torque.
