Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls, and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan.

Responsible for over-all implementation of Quality Control related to Instrumentation works in accordance with project specification and standards.

Responsible for the preparation of Quality Control plan as per field Quality Control plan and issued construction drawings and specification.

Verify the equipment and devices used in the project meets the required specifications as per Aramco Standards and have been tested in accordance with the standard procedures.

Verify that all testing instruments have current calibration certificates before using.

Conduct investigation regarding quality problems identifying its causes and prevention.

Witness testing and commissioning of all electrical and auxiliary system.

Implementing the work as per the Project specification and other international standards.

As a client representative/Third Party Inspector monitors and/or perform quality activities at all stages of projects. Assure that the contractor’s work follows SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirement, Standards, procedures, Specification, and Schedule Q of the Project contract.

Performs Projects Inspection both in Electrical & Instrumentation to verify the quality requirement of the project.

Facilitate and resolve issues with all parties involve pertaining to drawing deviation, Standard violation and/or modification of design or as per site condition.

Performs electrical & instrument inspections approvals from material receiving, installation and production workmanship, including witnessing, holding, recording, and resolving issues arise during testing.

Inspect materials and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance and requirements for proper handling, storage, and protection at the Construction site and/or lay down area.

Review, evaluate and approve prepared quality documents submitted by the contractor and monitors contractor’s quality systems, records, and quality personnel for compliance as per requirements.

To verify the Punch List Items, which are carried out by the contractor in compliance with standard engineering & procedure prior to commissioning, loop, and functional testing of all electrical and instrument.

Check and ensure that all field installations shall comply with the latest version of the issued for construction (IFC) drawings, Project specification and vendor instruction manuals & procedures.

Close and handle all issues and queries which have been identified or raised by the client in the Corrective Action Report (CAR).

Coordinate with E & I Vendors and follow up for pre commissioning and commissioning procedures and assist to vendors until start up.

Coordinate with other discipline to avoid the clashes and save manpower, time, and cost.

Follow up safety work procedure and complete the job as per planning schedule.

Ensured quality inspection of all instrumentation works at the project site for adherence to norms detailed in quality plan.

Monitoring, review, and inspection of all major activities related to quality of instruments construction works.

Assigned to project at Halul Island for QC inspection and supervision activities of the Project Quality Plan, and IFC drawings applicable standards and specifications. Monitor Quality control on construction progress activities and conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for electrical installations.

Determine and establish quality objectives related to the project.

Overseas the Documents Control Management and ensure the Availability or Current Client Engineering Standards, Procedures, and industrial Codes and Standard. Familiar with International Standard NACE, ASTM, DIN, BSI, IEC, ANSI, API, NEC, NEMA. Familiar with latest Calibration Certificates, all test and Measuring Instrument are in Operational and Calibrated Condition which will be utilized. Responsible for Checking Verifying and Reviewing the Construction Drawings Covering Specification IFC, P&ID, ILD, and other Attachments Prior to Installation. Aware of Safety rules and regulations, conducted weekly safety Auditing and Reporting, Participated weekly Safety Meeting and Familiar with the Relevant Safety Induction like 100% Fall Protection, Confined Space Entry & Pre-Commissioning Priority etc.
