Health, Safety, and Environment Officer

• Implementation of safety standards in compliance with the client’s health, safety, and environment management system.
• Enforce the company's site safety rules and regulations inside the worksite.
• Carry out daily site safety inspections, including inspections of equipment and power tools. Document violations through notes, checklists, and photographs.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions directly to the safety manager.
• Ensure that all employees undergo safety orientation.
• Ensure that the required PPEs are provided to all employees for specific work activities.
• Ensure full compliance with all HSE procedures and plans through proper documentation.
• Daily implementation of site HSE rules through required documentation, i.e., PTW, JSA, and checklists, etc.
• Daily equipment inspections and further corrective actions, where required. Investigating and reporting all accidents, including near-miss incidents, and recommending preventive measures.
• Daily inspection of the detour was conducted, and corrective action was taken where required.
• Issue a SOW notice when an unsafe work condition is found.

• Carry out regular site inspections.
• Conduct safety inductions for staff and new employees with regard to safety awareness.
• Daily monitoring and inspection of the site area to ensure proper compliance with safety. Communicate with the supervisor and foreman to ensure that work execution is done under the company's safety construction requirements.
• Investigate and report all accidents, including near-miss incidents, and recommend preventive measures.
• Meet with the representatives of the client and contractors to discuss the requirements regarding accident prevention in the site area.
• Ensure the implementation of work permits in active conditions, such as hot work, confined space, and excavation.
• Actively participating in the emergency drill conducted by RESCUE 1122 in order to deal with the accident.
