Responsibilities

• Preparation & design of PID, in conjunction with Process Engineer
• Preparation of plant operating control philosophy including alarm & interlocking trip matrix
• Prepare wiring line diagrams, Instrument Index, I/O list, Datasheets, Hook up drawings, Logic diagrams and tag assigning
• Prepare instrument, panel and PLC specifications, clarification and evaluation of vendor quotations, review of vendor design documentation, check & inspect vendor goods upon delivery
• Supervise the installation procedures of electrical equipment and instruments and communicate with clients regarding various approvals
• Site testing & commissioning of instrument and control systems
• Subcontracting of instrumentation installation work; support wiring & installation work.

• Generate the specification for various process instruments, evaluate and select the suitable instruments for required process control/monitoring application
• Perform electrical and instrument design work
• Ensure design and installations of electrical and instruments systems meet or exceed all code requirements
• Ensuring all the procurement steps follows as per design.
