Key responsibilities include:

• Heavily involved in decision making through participation in committees and board meetings
• Responsible for group’s monthly / quarterly / annual reporting
• Working closely with Group CFO and CEO to formulate business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan

• Oversee Group’s bottom-up and top-down budgeting and regular forecasting processes, procedures and controls

Major achievements:

• Spearheaded creation of new department responsible for Group's financial planning, reporting and consolidation. Also ensuring timely and reliable financial information for internal and external stakeholders
• Established and improvised various Corporate Governance documents / policies
• Extensively worked on the data visualization for senior leadership, developed various dashboards highlighting key performance indicators
• Currently involved in implementation of S4 Hana across finance function

• Overall planning of audits, conducting initial planning meetings with clients to understand & co-develop expectations and designing audit strategies in consultation with the Engagement Manager and Partner, after assessing the underlying audit risk in the light of the assessment of the client’s overall control environment
• Obtaining a thorough understanding of the nature of the client’s business, the business and regulatory environment in which it operates, SWOT analysis and identification of critical success factors
• Application of Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and assisted clients with the preparation and presentation of financial statements and related disclosures
• Supervision in preparation of final audit deliverables – the audit report, the transmission letter to the Board of Directors, the Management Letter and other reports and certificates.

Major Achievements:

• Was one of the super user across Deloitte KSA for implementation of new audit tool
• Led various implementation of first time adoption of IFRS across multiple clients and industries

• Participated in the planning and execution of audit procedures assigned by the manager or senior manager.
• Conducted substantive testing of financial statement accounts, including revenue, inventory, property, plant and equipment, and intangible assets.
• Analyzed complex transactions and identify potential risks and control weaknesses.
• Performed detailed testing of internal controls to assess their effectiveness.
• Prepared audit working papers and document all audit procedures performed.
• Assisted with the preparation of audit reports and management letters.
• Communicated effectively with clients and other team members.
