  • The department caters over 50,000 patients a year and handles all sort of Emergencies, including all level Acute Medical, Surgical (Trauma and Orthopaedic) and Cardiac Emergencies
  • This also covers Gynaecology and Paediatric Emergencies
  • This also has Acute Medical Clinic which covers with Family Physician care for managements and reassessments
  • My position as a Senior Registrar in ED entails the initial evaluation and management of any case arriving to the A&E including Multiple Trauma and Acute Resuscitation Cases
  • I gained new experiences here include the Triage and Prioritization of patients according to the severity of their emergency and the organization of acute emergencies into codes that are called for a complete team to arrive at the setting of Life Threatening Emergencies
  • The hospital is also developing and has organized drills for disaster plans
  • The position requires that I should be Basic, Advanced Cardiac and Advanced Trauma Life Support certified
