Technical Skills

• Product and Standard Familiarity:
• Equipment: Switchgear, switchracks, motor control centers, automatic transfer switches, control panels, switchboards, explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof panel boards, and other LV equipment
• Sectors: Oil & gas, industrial, and Utility substation projects.
• Standards: ANSI, NEMA, IEEE, IEC.
• Client Specifications: Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, Bapco, NEOM.
• Engineering Drawings and Documentation:
• Reviews project specifications and translates them into detailed engineering tasks.
• Creates various design drawings (single line, three line, control schematics, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, general arrangement, foundation, sectional views, etc.).
• Prepares design documents (datasheets, bills of materials, nameplates).
• Performs design calculations (load, heat loss, CT/VT, load lists).
• Design Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD (Expert), and Elecdes (Basic)
• ETAP (Intermediate)
• RSCAD/RTDS (Expert), and PSCAD (Basic)
• ANSYS (Beginner)
• MATLAB (Expert)

Project Management and Communication

• Actively participates in client meetings to understand needs, address technical inquiries, discuss potential adjustments, and clarify issues upfront.
• Partners with the purchasing department to optimize material procurement for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Collaborates effectively with other engineering divisions, production teams, and quality teams for smooth project execution.

Leadership and Mentorship

• Led efforts to enhance design efficiency and establish standardized practices for new products, improving performance and consistency.
• Mentored junior engineers, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
• Leads design engineer teams on large-scale projects, fostering collaboration and ensuring on-time completion.

Proven Experience:

• Demonstrated experience supporting major clients in the Oil & Gas, Industrial, and Substation sectors.
• Familiarity with projects for clients like Saudi Aramco, Sabic, Sipchem, SEC, Marafiq, and Ma'aden.

Product & Standard Expertise:

• Extensive knowledge of MV/LV Switchgear, MV/LV Motor Control Centers, Switchboards, Panel Boards, MV/LV Busduct, MV/LV Cable Bus, and HV Relay/Control Panels.
• Proficient in international standards including ANSI, NEMA, and IEEE.

• Utilize MS Project to develop detailed project schedules that integrate with design, production, and other relevant departments.

• Project Kick-Off:
• Attend project kick-off meetings with clients to initiate the manufacturing process.
