I was appointed as Site Manager to look after the above project activities fro substation portion (Protection Modification Works).

During my deputation in Dubai Project for Circuits 132kV U/G NAJM-OVLG and 132kV U/G NAJM-EMAR,

My responsibilities were as under;

• Site Management including Operations and administration of the Project
• Participate in Technical Meetings with DEWA.
• Scope Finalization with DEWA fro SUbstation Portion
• Review of the Design Submittals.
• Target the completion of tasks as per DDCMS Sheet.
• Conduct Meetings with subcontractor to follow up about the progress of the Project.
• Prepare the PTW and follow up with DEWA to get the approvals.
• Frequently visit the sites during the Protection Modification Works.
• Maintain the good and strong coordination with the client and site team for timely completion of the project activities.
• Proactively worked and spotted issues to save project cost and time by focusing on project progress.
• The Outage schedule of DEWA was followed to complete the work ahead of schedule.
• Made Arrangement to fulfill the requirement of Projects efficiently including rental Manpower, Materials.
• Follow-up with vendors to provide materials and services for required Protection, DFR, and SCADA/SCMS modification tasks.
• Perform the Material inspection and get the SRC to utilize the materials at site.
• Made arrangements of OEM to test the Protection Relays (SELL 411L and GE P543).
• Supervise the Testing & Commissioning of the circuits which leads to safe Energization.
• Packed and safely return the Dismantle materials as per DEWA
• Closure of Project in Well Manner.

• Study of Project Technical documents, SOW, and Drawings
• Conduct a Site Visit to verify the SOW and prepare the Site Visit Reports
• Raise the Pre-bid clarifications and coordinate with the client
• Support the Procurement team to prepare the RFQs and check the technical requirements a din preparation for Work orders
• Continuous involvement in preparation, coordination & follow-up for Sub-Contracts, Design and engineering, and techno-commercial submittals.
• Calculate the Bill of Materials (BOM), Material Sourcing, Techno-commercial Evaluation of Vendor's Offers/Proposals, and finalization of Contracts, Purchase Orders, and sub-contracting of project requirements
• Monitoring all of the Construction Activities of Transmission line projects including Access Roads, Structure Pads, Pole Erection, and Stringing of Conductors, with Testing & Commissioning
• Make sure that all construction activities are being carried out in accordance to the preset safety rules.
• Scheme check and modification in drawings of AIS/GIS substations (ACDB and DCDB panels, line protection panels, Busbar Protection Panels, Annunciator Panels).
• Cable termination of Protection panels with the interface panels.
• Preparation of engineering documents such as a Master Plan, 3-week schedule, functional specifications, test plan, operation & maintenance manuals, application notes and cable schedule, and pre-energization documents
• Maintain Quality of Work as per Saudi Aramco's and NGSA’s Standards and Specifications
• Support All QCs in the preparation and submission of QC Dossiers.
• Monitor the progress of the Project cautiously and fulfill the requirements of the Project Execution plan to ensure the implementation of all steps.
• Always take advice and guidelines from the Project Manager regarding related clarifications/problems.

• High-pressure boilers installation
• Erection & Installation of LCC and MCC Panels
• Installation and Termination of LV Cables
• Installation of BFW water Pumps, Motorized Dampers
• Erection & Installation of Temperature Sensors, Pressure Sensors including Solenoid Valve for Safety of Boilers as per P&ID of the Project
• Erection & Commissioning of VFDs 520 and 750 series (Allen Bradley) for Force Draft (FD) Fan and Induced Draft (ID) Fan
• Coordination with Civil and Mechanical Engineers for various issues concerning electrical installation

• Maintain the Cleaning of Cooling Towers and check the Coolant availability
• Check and maintain the periodic Maintenance schedule of Gas Gensets (1MW) for Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
