Supervising the safety and health in Riyadh western sector projects.

As of now, I joined a new established department and working on:

Assisting on creating organization chart and setting rules and responsibilities for both department/ staffs.

Creating safety procedures and checklists for both department and consultant.

Assisting the manager on interviewing different consultants for approval and mobilization.

Visiting the projects and report all the safety issues to the management.

Developing a dashboard with the team to have an overview of the projects in Riyadh

Parsons is working as Project Management Consultant in Diriyah Gate Project which is one of the top five Giga projects in Saudi Arabia:

• Manage Parsons site activities including contractors and Supervision Consultants to ensure they comply with the approved PSHEP & Client procedures on a very large Infrastructure Scale covering 2 separate packages for utility tunnels, deep excavations, sub-stations, gas farms, MEP and large civil works.

• Establishing & monitoring IIF program (incident injury free) to reduce the number of incidents in the project.

• Attending monthly emergency drills, comments on the scenarios and their performance to ensure that contractors are ready in case of emergency

• Leading and approving interviews for all HSE candidates for Consultants and Contractors.

• Managing and supporting HSE team members from contractors, Supervision Consultants, and PMC team.

• Acting on behalf of Senior HSE Manager during his absence or any other circumstances.

• Attending weekly site inspection to ensure client & Parsons HSE minimum standards and procedures are in place and implemented.

• Monitoring the effectiveness and implementation of the HSE Standards and procedures.

• Daily review of Supervision Consultants and Contractors documents before client submission: Site observations report (SOR), Method Statement, Work Permits, Accident incident investigation, Camp inspection, Legal documents inspection, targeted audits, compliance inspections, Labor 3rd party certificates inspection and heavy equipment checks.

• Conducting weekly coordination meeting that involved construction departments and safety departments to prevent any obstacles that may affect project progress.

• Representing the company in weekly or monthly progress meeting which involve all stockholders in the project.

• Monitoring all HSE teams' performance (Supervision consultants/ Contractors).

• Coordinate and interface with other departments or companies in the project for all HSE related issues.

• Review audit findings from contractors and supervision consultants and ensure the closeout on the given timeframe.

• Assist snr. manager during client audit and close the finding within the timeframe.

Investigate all accidents/ incidents, near miss to find out the root cause and recommend corrective actions.

• Daily communication and expediting with subcontractor and suppliers for materials delivery and progress of the work.

• Weekly meeting with subcontractor manager to follow up on the progress of the project and to prevent any obstacles.

• Weekly reports and meeting with clients to update them on the status of the project.

• Presenting company HSE requirements and policy.

• Safety induction to the visitors.

• Daily Toolbox, and site inspection (unsafe act, unsafe condition).

• Weekly report (Major observations, near-misses, safety award).

• Monthly worker training and workshops in the site.

• Monthly fire extinguishers inspection.

• Monthly emergency drill.

• Sites & headquarter office evacuation plan creator.

Installing tanks in Saudi Aramco Berri Gas Plant:

· Support the management to follow Saudi Aramco Safety standers.

· Obtain Aramco Approval as Safety Engineer and finish the requirement:

- Aramco Safety exam - Pass.

- Job Safety Analyses certificate - Accomplished.

- Incident and Accident Investigation certificate - Accomplished.

- Contractors work permit receiver perquisite exam - Pass.

- First Aid certificate - Accomplished.

- Basics life support certificate - Accomplished.

Underground Riyadh Metro construction:

· Managing the safety of 40-50 employees in the site (unsafe act, unsafe conditions).

· Daily toolbox talk.

· Daily Site inspection.

· Monthly tools inspections and use color code system.

· Monthly Fire Extinguisher inspection.

· Issue and Review the PTW before submitting it to the management.

· Stop any Unsafe act and look for safe way to do it.

· Monthly emergency drill.

· Monthly training and safety awareness delivering.
