• Inspection of material received from clients & local purchased materials viz. Pipes, tubes, pipefittings, structural items, tools, fasteners, testing & measuring instruments, valves, gaskets etc. in compliance to standard specifications & to review the material test certificate.
• Inspection of piping spools & Structural item fabrication in compliance to Isometric drawing. Inspection is to be carried out at layout/marking stage, fit up stage, during & after welding for the consumable used for welding and final dimensional & visual inspection prior to release of spools.
• Inspection of blasting and painting of fabricated materials by taking blast profile sample and measuring WFT & DFT of painting.
• To Co-ordinate with NDT contractor to carry out RT, UT, MPT, & DPT as per required project specification and update the NDT result on relevant Isometric drawings to witness, and review the NDT report.
• To Co-ordinate with the welding supervisor and production engineers for recording their production activities, marking the weld repair on welding joint after reviewing the RT reports and expecting the weld repair for final clearance of piping spools.

• To prepare complete QA/QC documentation for Hydro-testing, exchangers tube replacement and mark it up on the drawing for submittal and billing purpose.
• To liaison with production authorities of plant to plan and schedule the required maintenance activities. Also to carry out piping repair works, new structural work, repair/ patch work and replacement of fixed and hanging overhead pipe supports, to replace and repair existing insulation (Hot, Cold and personal protection) Insulation of pipelines and piping spools, structure, vessels, etc.
