Radwa Karam Abdel-Salam

• About Company: Information and Decision Center (IDSC), Egyptian Cabinet.
• I began as a Junior Statistical Analyst and was later promoted to Senior Analyst. Over time, I advanced to the role of Team Leader, where I led projects and guided my team to success. Currently, I am on a break due to traveling with my spouse.
• I actively contributed to numerous projects and research papers, including the Progress Index of Egypt, a report on Child Development, Pollution in Egypt, and the Food Monitoring System. In the early stages of position, I focused on data analysis and modeling using SPSS. As I advanced, my role evolved to include verifying analytical outputs and overseeing report writing, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the final deliverables.

• I worked with UNICEF to create DevInfo database for all series of Demographic and Health Survey (1988-2008).
• Also worked as DevInfo UNICEF Consultant in Ministry of Social Solidarity, whereas we were working toward putting the annual report in DevInfo database.
• Then worked with UNICEF to format and upload the disaggregated data that came out of the data tables and secondary analysis of the SYPE report and the Family Conditions Survey into a DevInfo database, and create DevInfo database called EquityInfo.

• Company Overview: El-Zanaty and Associates is a leading company in social researches, one of the most important projects is Egypt Demographic and Health Survey (http://www.elzanaty.com/).
• I had participated in some projects like, Education Developing with co-operation with JICA, Industrial Modularization with co-operation with World Bank, Egypt Demographic and Health Survey 2008, vision about Greater Cairo in 2050, study about Breast Cancer, study about Rational Use of Medicines and Medicine Management, Development of El-Sadat City, C4D with cooperation of UNICEF and RIMS & M&E.
• When I was research assistant, I was responsible for helping Dr. Fatma in report writing and translation. Also I was responsible for helping in questionnaire design and taking notes during questionnaire training.
• As a data processing coordinator and statistical analyst, I was responsible for converting the question to a suitable form to be used in data entry using CSPro, then supervising in data entry and data re-entry, compare between data entry and data re-entry and correct mistakes in data entry, then make some verification’s steps to insure data consistency then finalize the data and run some frequencies, finally exporting them to the client’s needed format. Sometimes I was responsible for analysis of data and tabulation analysis.
• I gave a presentation about 'Violence against Women' in a project supported by USAIDS and National Council for Women.
• I was the coordinator of a workshop with JICA in Al-Fayoum concerning 'Education Development in Al-Fayoum'.
• Creator of EDHSInfo 2008 template and database, using DevInfo.

• I translated a paper for UNDP written by Dr. Heba Al-Lithi named 'Policies to achieve gender equality and inequality indices'

• I executed a lot of projects such as i2, CDI, Laundry, Mobinil.
• Regarding international projects: I was responsible to communicate with the client via e-mails, and then supervise on the field work out of Egypt. After taking the data and cleaning it, I start to analyze it and get the results. Then I present it in power point presentation and send it to the client. Also I'm responsible for answering any question regarding the study and getting any additional output to the client.
• Regarding domestic projects: I was responsible for data cleaning, analyzing, presenting.
