 In this work, we use YOLOv 8 (You Only Look Once, Version 8) for Object detection and counting from a given image. The model is training on Common Object in Context (COCO) Dataset. The dataset has around 164K images based on 80 categories or classes. It predicts the types of objects present in that image and marks them accurately with the help of DNN (Deep Neural Networks) model andComputer vision. Then detected object will be counted according to its class label
