Project: Red Sea Utility and Infrastructure Project (400MW Solar PV, 1300MWhr BESS, 100MW ICE, 30MG RO Plant, Sewage treatment plant (Constructed wetland), 2No of District cooling plant and Solid Waste management systems.

Responsibility:

  • Review and approve all project plans and specifications; sign off on completion and appropriate intervals and upon completion of project.
  • Supervise and lead engineers, technicians, designers and other personnel involved in the design, planning and development of engineering projects as well as support personnel.
  • Leadership, engineering management and feasibility studies, front-end engineering design layouts (for solar PV, ICE, SS and BESS), energy yield assessments, solar PV and BESS technology assessment, final approval.
  • Oversee all engineering and related projects, services and functions.
  • Set and follow departmental and project-specific budgets, approving all expenditures.
  • Perform technical and commercial analyses and works to develop, design, tender finance, construct and operate renewable power generation projects with the support of consultants and EPC companies
  • Managing the multiple shake holders as Owner Engineer (overall project engineering consultant and System studies consultant) and EPC engineering teams.
  • Review EPC Contractor bids, designs, reports, orders, etc for compliance with Owner’s Requirements and EPC Contract Appendices;
  • Review and monitor contractual requirements for all engineering, equipment suppliers, and construction contractors to support the project.

Achievement :

  • Completed the engineering within the schedule period and no extra variation order issued to EPC.

5. TANWEER Hybrid Renewables Independent Power Project at 11 Site entire OMAN, 37Mwac Solar PV, 27.9MWac BESS and 54.2 MWac Diesel Generator and 90MWac rehabilitated. Client: EDF.

Responsibility:

  • Preparation of Engineering Plan aligned with the project, implementing the plan, monitoring and control.
  • Responsible for preliminary and detailed design with focus on technical configuration optimization.
  • Prepare technical reports detailing the findings of feasibility studies, Design plans and specifications for renewable energy systems
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses of proposed renewable energy projects
  • Prepare estimate cost, engineering project schedules and monitoring projects with respect to person-hours Cost and earn ratio.
