Key responsibilities

Follow policies and procedures to ensure compliance to Maintain a safe, healthy and clean environment identify hazards and take action to remove these hazards. To ensure that all of the Work Health and Safety requirements are met. Identify risks and report them in a timely manner
Engage in staff recruitment, development, and training.

Have Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation and early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
Writing QIP, RAP and ensuring compliance items are always correct and implemented.
Coordinate with the Allied Health Teams in the development and management of Individual Family Support Plans (IFSP) & Individual Educational Plans (IEP) for children. Organised and oversee Inclusion Development Fund Subsidy for an Additional Educator (IDFS) for children with additional needs.
Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children as well as communicate with parents on a regular basis to discuss the development of their enrolled children.
Prepare and maintain administrative and business reports and records of the childcare center; record all fee payments and prepare billing late payments and follow-up actions when necessary; review income and expense, statistical, and budget status reports to develop and maintain sound financial status of program; analyze problems in these areas and make recommendations to resolve them or take corrective action.

• In the absence of the Director, I was responsible for the overall management of the Centre.
