• Periodic Stock counts and Stock reports/analysis, manages and contribute towards Stock Control

• Takes on the spot operational decisions related with daily warehousing topics

• Coordinate and handle warehouse management topics internally and with external supplier / service providers

• Safeguarding of Siemens and Customer Stock and ensuring contractual obligations are met.

• Maintain and administer company inventory control and property management procedure.

• Develop important reports, outline/schedule and conduct stock-taking as at when due

• Take responsibility for property and maintenance of issues.

• Help in planning and maintaining of logistics policies and procedures.

• Keep proper records of all forms of transactions relating to the company's logistics operations.

• Resolve problems that are related to transportation and logistics systems.

• Negotiate transport or logistics rates with suppliers and customers so as to improve the supply chain.

• Analyze areas of corporate logistics so as to find out the most cost-effective means or method of transporting supplies.

• Communicate transport or logistics cost to customers or suppliers as the case may be.

• Evaluate and process claims made by customers.

• Monitor the entire process of product movement

• Track shipments across different channels.

* Managed, oversee, and participate in full warehouse operations.

* Ensure that all warehouse activities are coordinated with one means to an end – efficient delivery and receiving of shipments.

* Motivating, organizing, and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

* Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.

* Ensuring appropriate storage space for incoming shipments in advance.

* Organizing the dispatch and delivery of goods on time.

* Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements.

* Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment.

* Take periodic inventories and control inventory levels by conducting monthly physical counts; and reconciling with data storage system.

* Develop and maintain transportation systems for domestic and international freight that ensure business needs are met.

* Supervised customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, and quality ensuring that customer service creates a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

* Ensure the Company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding transportation, including hazardous materials.

* Handle technical details relating to international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.

* Build up good relationships with Logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation.

* Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
