With over 25 years at market leading Tullet Prebon ICAP, I advanced to Head of Inflation for (London, Paris, and New York). My experience in global financial markets is supported by a strategic vision and a collaborative leadership style. I excel in management, problem-solving, client relations, and consistently driving growth and innovation through progressive strategy. Passionate about leveraging my experience, I aim to apply my varied knowledge to a wide range of sectors that require any form of consulting/mentoring from sales to management to business development.
Tasked with leading an underperforming Inflation team to stimulate revenue growth and enhance market share.
Assessed staff performance, replacing underperformers to strengthen team effectiveness.
Improved IT capabilities, particularly in online auctions and STP operations.
Responsibilities included staff and client management, expansion of IT resources as the MIFID and SEF regulations had been implemented by the FCA and SEC in order to clean up the banking industry after the CDS/ABS and Lehman crisis, which in turn required certain trading platforms to be established. Managing the day-to-day and expansion of teams in New York, in Paris and London by 2016. I then implemented a new strategy to bring the Paris desks to London, and expand the team, which ultimately quadrupled the turnover of our Bond markets section. At our peak we managed to grow the department achieving a turnover of £15 million.
I was invited to create a new desk in the Inflation Swaps/Bonds and Options market along with 3 other team members. I leveraged my expertise in previous markets to build client relationships, which in turn led to a steep curve of success that consequently allowed to be voted No1 Broker for Inflation Products across all sectors in 2006 and every subsequent year till 2016.
Principal role involved onboarding new clients (traders in Investment Banks) to cover on Bond Option transactions. Owing to my ability to speak Italian I managed to grow a substantial number of clients based in regional banks in Italy which in turn expedited my role from junior to senior broker very rapidly. In 2002 myself and one other colleague were running the desk maintaining a healthy reputation within the marketplace. By 2003 the Bond Option market became redundant with the integration of Swaptions and Futures Options becoming a more viable hedge for traders.
I founded and expanded an office cleaning company to 40-50 contracts with over 100 employees. Identifying inefficiencies in facilities management, I brought in experts to audit and manage various services, leading to rapid business growth.
