• Recording of datas
• Maintenance of Fire Assay equiptments and repair of mechanical and electrical troubles.
• Conducting regular housekeeping procedures to keep the area clean and tidy to avoid contamination of samples.
• Conducting inventories of fire assay reagents, tools and materials to ensure that supplies are intact and sufficient for the entire period until next supply purchaces.
• Reporting and informing of any malfunctions and problems that occurs in the fire assay laboratory during the process to maintain its operation running smoothly and with accuracy.
• Responsible in observing safeguards protocols and maintaining good working condition in the work area.
• Perform other duties and task vested by the immediate superior in the work premises.

As a Fire Assayer in Intertek Laboratory My primary responsible is weighing of samples, fusion and cupellation.

Secondary responsibilities are trainings of personnel and perform otherwise duties assigned by the operation manager.

Responsible in maintainance of Fire assay’s equiptment and facility such as repair of electrical and mechanical troubles.

Replacement of Fire assays components

Maintaining order and cleanliness with in the work area and do regular housekeeping.

Observe safeguards protocols and follow Standard Operational Procedures.

• Firstly, worked as laboratory aide them became Sample Preparationman
• Sample Preparationman then became Fire Assayer
• From Fire Assayer became Laboratory Technician who assisted the Chemists in all analytical procedures in the laboratories.
• Worked swingman in the laboratory blacking up supervisors and perform otherwise duties assigned by the immediate superior.
