I am currently seeking a full-time apprenticeship where I can apply my knowledge and skills to pursue a diesel mechanic career. I am studying for my Certificate II in Automotive Servicing, where I am learning essential skills which will aid me in my future career. I am eager to succeed in a challenging and stimulating environment, contributing to the success of the company while earning opportunities for advancement. I am hardworking, reliable, and easy to work with, and I have gained valuable industry experience through school, TAFE, and previous work placements at various electrical and mechanical workshops.
At Cavpower, I assisted tradesmen with repairs on a variety of earthmoving machinery and helped make adjustments for new equipment being sent to other companies. This included tasks such as installing turbo manifolds and fitting Hy Power brake safe brakes, contributing to the preparation of machinery for delivery.
At RDO Equipment, I worked on John Deere earthmoving machinery, assisting in diagnosing and repairing graders over the course of two days. This hands-on experience allowed me to observe expert technicians and further develop my skills in equipment maintenance and repair.
At Volvo, I assisted with servicing and repairing a variety of earthmoving equipment, including graders, bulldozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, and dump trucks. I also conducted professional pressure washing and completed pre-hire checklists to ensure equipment readiness.
I assisted with servicing and maintaining a wide range of equipment, from small tools like leg rammers, DPU plates, and quick cut saws to larger machinery such as skid and track steer loaders, trucks, excavators, utes, and 4WDs. I also performed pressure washing and cleaning of earthmoving equipment and completed service checklists to ensure proper maintenance.
During my time at AUS DIG Plant Hire Solutions, I worked as a trade assistant, supporting qualified mobile plant technicians on a variety of jobs. I initially joined through a work experience placement, where I made a strong impression with my enthusiasm and attention to detail, leading to a temporary contract. In this role, I assisted the team with tasks such as inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical components. I also helped prepare tools and materials, kept job sites organized, and assisted in dismantling and reassembling machinery. This experience allowed me to develop my technical skills, gain valuable hands-on experience, and learn from seasoned technicians in real-world settings.

I am also gaining knowledge in systems such as batteries, wheel balancing, braking, cooling, steering, and suspension, as well as essential skills for servicing technology, auto electronics, agricultural equipment, earthmoving machinery, and both light and heavy vehicles.
