Work history

Executive Director / MEP Division Leader Coastal Contracting Company

Red Sea Global
2023.09 - 2026.02
  • Red Sea Global decided to set up a Directly owned subsidiary Construction Business, primarily to counter project slippages and rising costs across the existing Tier 1 and 2 supply chain. This was done through open and competitive tendering in order to ensure full compliance with Government / PIF Procurement and Audit controls. However initially all tendering was limited to RSG Projects only.
  • Founded MEP Division, overseeing initial setup and growth.
  • Evaluated and sanctioned business plans and budgets, while formulating operational methods and recruiting essential personnel.
  • Managed business operating costs, profit and loss, and contributed to central business overheads.
  • As of Feb 24 we were an MEP team of 25 and had commenced tendering and by Sept 24 had a staff of 90 No Managers and Engineers with 700 Direct labour. We had competitively won work upon projects for new MEP infrastructure, 1350 Apartments and new Kitchens for the extensive Labour Camp.
  • January 25, as a construction business across all divisions we secured registration for ISO 9001 (Quality) 14001 (Environmental) and also ISO 45001 (H+S)
  • Feb 25, we won the project to redevelop Al wedjh Airport, extending its footprint by 100% and create a modern airport for the northern RSG Destinations.
  • Apr 25 - we won a project to install extensive new temporary MEP infrastructure upon an island that would have 3 hotels, 550 villas and 300 apartments, approx $30M and an 8 month contract.
  • Achieved net profit of 11% and maintained overheads at 5.8% by end of 2025.
  • The expected style and size of RSG projects expected through 2026 and the time needed to develop external opportunities brought about the need for a simpler and smaller MEP operation with cuts to costs, hence a restructure across the Business and in particular the MEP Division.

  • Facilitated structured discussions with supply chain to negotiate increased resources, enhance technical awareness, and ensure full access to their supply chain.
  • Engaged directly with key suppliers through factory visits and design coordination workshops to identify and resolve issues affecting delivery, fostering open dialogue among stakeholders to improve cohesion and support timely project delivery.
